Website William F. West High School, commonly referred to as W. F. West, is a public high school in Chehalis, Washington and one of two high schools in the Chehalis School District. Its athletic teams, competing as the Bearcats, are considered rivals with Centralia High School. The principal of W.F. West High School is Dr. Linda Smith. It was named for local businessman William F. West who donated money and land to the school district.

Extracurricular Activities
W.F. West High School is a member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association in the 2A Evergreen Conference. The school sanctions the following sports and extracurricular activities:
Fall: Theatre, Cheerleading, Football, Girls' Soccer, Cross Country, Boys' Tennis, Boys' Golf, Girls' Swimming, Volleyball, Forensics, Rifle team, Pep Band, Bowling Club.
Winter: Cheerleading, Pep band, Wrestling, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball, Knowledge Bowl, Forensics, and Curling.
Spring: Theatre, Baseball, Boys' Soccer, Fastpitch, Girls' Golf, Girls' Tennis, Forensics, and Boys' and Girls' Track
In 2010, Girls' Fastpitch made 3rd place in state competition. Wrestling was 2nd in state. The Bearcats were also baseball 2010 WIAA 2A State Champions. One of the members of the Forensics Team went to NFL Nationals in Kansas City, Missouri. A trio of students from FCCLA went to nationals in Chicago. The Theatre competed in the 5th Avenue Awards hosted in Seattle.
Fight song
The W.F. West fight song, "On Chehalis," is set to "On Wisconsin," the fight song of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
