The 45th Grammy Awards were held on February 23, 2003. They recognized accomplishments by musicians from the previous year. Norah Jones was the night's big winner winning five awards including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. Jones is the daughter of Ravi Shankar.
