Odakyū-Sagamihara Station (小田急相模原駅 Odakyū-Sagamihara-eki?) is a railway station in the city of Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, served by the Odawara Line of the Odakyū Electric Railway.

The station is 34.7 rail kilometers from the Odawara Line’s terminal at Shinjuku Station. The station is located on the border of Sagamihara with the city of Zama.

Station history

Odakyū-Sagamihara Station began operations on March 1, 1930 as Sagamihara Station. With the opening of the nearby Sagami Line Sagamihara Station by the Japan National Railway on April 5, 1941, it was forced by the government to adopt its current name. [1]

Odakyū-Sagamihara Station has two side platforms serving two tracks, connected to the station building by overpasses. The station building is elevated, and is located above the tracks and platforms.
