History

* 1974 - The station opens.
* 2000 - Limited Express "Homeway" starts operation, and the station becomes a Limited Express stop.
* 2002 - Becomes a stop for Limited Express "Support" and "Enoshima" and Tama and Shonan Express.
* 2004 - Becomes a stop for Rapid Express and Section Semi Express. Also, "Support" is discontinued, and instead becomes a stop for "Hakone" and "Sagami".
