Nuno Pinheiro is a Portuguese graphic designer and illustrator. He specializes in iconography, themes and user interface design. Nuno's works include general illustrations, UI design, Web design, corporate design as well as other work's in creative areas. He is known in Linux circles for his work in Oxygen Project were he is the current coordinator.[1][2][3]

His computer art is world widespread with KDE on different computer platforms.

eyeos, The well known cloud desktop extensively uses the Nuno Pinheiro work.

Career

Nuno Started as a Civil engineer, but soon after leaving University, started working on icon design. He was responsible for the OpenOffice.org crystal icon set that can be seen in in the open suite. He worked at Suse where he started to work on Oxygen Project, after leaving Suse he moved on to continue his work on Oxygen. He currently works for Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB (KDAB) as a UI designer.
