Kdenlive "(KDE Non-Linear Video Editor)" (IPAEng|ˌkeɪdɛnˈlaɪv) is a non-linear video editor for KDE, and is based on the MLT framework. Kdenlive supports all of the formats supported by FFmpeg (such as MOV, AVI, WMV, MPEG, XviD, and FLV), and also supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios for both PAL, NTSC and various HD standards, including HDV. The developers of Kdenlive have moved on from the KDE3 version (Which wasn't originally made for MLT) and moved on to KDE4 with an almost complete rewrite. Some new features for 0.6 are: capture from webcam, grab video from your screen, support for jog shuttle devices, independent rendering processes, faster and interactive timeline operations, and easy audio fade.
