Football
In 2001, a new coach, Bob Christmas, was hired. A Virginia state championship team coach, he brought along his own coaching staff and his own playbook. Not long after his arrival the Trojans began to run his mastered Wing T offense and running game. North Hall started the 2001 season 0-9 under Christmas, but the last game of the season was a shock as the Trojans pulled off an upset over then undefeated Madison County, 35-12. In the 2002 season they posted an (8-2) record and reached the state playoffs as a 3rd seed out of Region 7-AAA.
In 2003 they achieved a (9-1) record and a second straight playoff berth. During 2004 they:
- were undefeated (10-0),
- posted their first playoff win,
- reached the state quarter finals,
- finished the season ranked 6th in the AP polls,
- achieved a 28-0 shutout win over rival Gainesville High School.
After a rebuilding season in 2005 ((6-4) record), North Hall became a force to be reckoned with after posting two back-to-back region championships. In 2006 they had several close wins, and finished the regular season (9-1), the one loss was to rival Gainesville 929-28). Despite this, the Trojan football team gained the region title, their second in three years and made a deep run in the postseason posting a final (11-2) record and a final ranking of 7th. 90 percent starters returned for the 2007 season and the Trojans had a top five ranking all season.
After the first three games, North Hall had outscored the opposition 127-0. Seven weeks later, they traveled to expansion rival, Chestatee High School, and won the region championship after a 53-6 win over the War Eagles. North Hall finished the regular season with their second undefeated season and third region title in four years. After three playoff wins, the Trojans were in the final four, and they were allowed the title of Perennial Powerhouse as they walked into the Georgia Dome for the Class AAA state semifinals. After a 14-7 halftime lead, North Hall suffered their first loss of the season with a last minute loss to Cairo High School, which denied them a trip to the Class AAA State Championship game.
After losing over half the starters to graduation, North Hall rebuilt in 2008. After a slow (1-2) start, the school bounced back to a (7-3) regular season record and a trip to the Sweet 16 in the Class AAA playoffs. The Trojans are averaging 10 wins per season, which takes second place in Class AAA. Since Coach Christmas' arrival, the Trojans have broken every school football record and have nearly doubled the all-time winning season record. North Hall has also made six playoff appearances since Christmas has been at the helm. The Trojan football team have not had a losing season since 2001, a (1-9) record.
At the conclusion of the 2009 season, North Hall finished with a (9-3) record and was one of only four schools in Georgia to advance past the first round of the AAA state playoffs four years in a row, joining Carrollton High School, Cairo High School, and Carver High School after beating the Ringgold High School Tigers 39-21 to advance to the Sweet 16. After a quick 2010 season, a (5-5) record; in which four games were lost by a total of 27 points, the Trojans look forward to 2011 where they will return 15 starters.

The North Hall Band program consists of a marching band, symphonic band, concert band, jazz band, winter guard, indoor drumline, and several smaller emsembles. The Marching Trojans compete at three competitions during the fall and are present at all North Hall Varsity football games performing popular tunes as well as providing halftime entertainment.
In addition to the Marching Band, North Hall has a symphonic band, which in previous years have been invited to perform at the 'National Adjudicators Invitational' in place of their regular GMEA District 9 Festival. The symphonic band has a 32 year streak of straight superiors and will look to continue their success under the direction of Mr. Kevin Carwile who, as of May 2010, was selected to lead the North Hall band program. The NHHS Jazz Band held a benefit concert in 2007 after an E-F4 tornado struck Enterprise High School in Alabama and demolished the band hall. At the end of the night, the NHBA President announced that nearly $5500 was raised for the Enterprise Big Blue Band and a check was hand delivered the next week.
