Malankara dam: This is a gravity dam constructed across Thodupuzha river for irrigation purpose. The tail water from Moolamattom Power house is stored here and nearby one good park in under construction.
Ilaveezhapoonchira: is an attractive picnic spot around 8 km from Muttom by road (via Melukavu or Kanjar). There is a cave in the north east side of the mountain is worth seeing, a small lake (Pond) called Chira is there. The name itself saying the meaning of the place 'Ila' means Leaf, 'veezha' means never falls in poonchira because there is no trees in and around. It is also known as Kudayathoor Vindhyan or Pinthan
