Muyezersky District (Russian: Муезерский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Muyezersky Municipal District. Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Muyezersky.^[2] District's population: 12,234 (2010 Census preliminary results);^[3] 16,556 (2002 Census);^[4] 20,638 (1989 Census).^[6] Population of the administrative center accounts for 27.2% of the district's population.^[3]
