Football career
Storey was born in Sandwell, Staffordshire and started his football education with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City[2] but was signed by Wiltshire outfit Swindon Town in 2010 as a first year scholar at the Centre of Excellence at The County Ground.[3] During his first season as a scholar at Swindon, the young forward impressed helping Paul Bodin's youth side winning their third successive season. [4]
After Swindon Town manager Paul Hart was dimissed as manager in April, 2011, Miles Storey's coach Paul Bodin was immediately installed as caretaker boss.[5]
Bodin immediately brought Storey into the first team set-up for the clubs home fixture with Oldham Athletic. He made his debut as a 78th minute substitute replacing on-loan forward Calvin Andrew, Swindon lost the match 2-0.[6]
