The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, commonly abbreviated WPC, is a conference held annually by Microsoft Corporation. The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) is an annual gathering for the Microsoft partner community to learn about Microsoft’s roadmap for the upcoming year, network and build connections, share best practices, experience the latest product innovations, and learn new skills and techniques. History

In it's current form, it has been held since 2003. [2] Before 2003, it was two different events, Microsoft Fusion and the Microsoft Business Solutions Stampede. [3]

2002

July 12 through 15, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. Over 4700 people attended the Microsoft Fusion convention. [4]

2003

Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. More than 5,500 business leaders, marketing executives, sales professionals and solution architects from around the world attended the event. [5]

2004

July 11 to July 13 in Toronto, Canada. [6]

2005

Friday, July 8, through Sunday, July 10, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis. There were 10,000 attendees including 6,500 Microsoft industry partners and other company leaders, sales and marketing executives, and solution architects. [7]

2006

August 11 through August 13 in Boston, Massachusetts. [8]

2007

July 10 through July 12 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. [9] [10]

2008

July in Houston, Texas. [11]

2009

July 13 in New Orleans. [12]

2010

July 11 to July 15 in Washington, D.C. [13] About 13,000 people representing companies that resell, build on and sell services based on Microsoft products attended the conference at the Washington Convention Center. [14] [15]

2011

July 10 - July 14 in Los Angeles, California. [16] [17]

2012

July 8 through 12, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario. More than 15,000 people are expected to attend the Toronto conference, representing technology companies in 130 countries. While the main hubs of the action will be the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the Air Canada Centre, many other venues will be involved as 500+ events take place during the conference and at least 32 hotels across the Toronto region will host delegates.
