Meghan Elizabeth Klingenberg (born August 2, 1988) is an American soccer midfielder currently playing for the Boston Breakers and is a member of the United States women's national soccer team and former member of magicJack.^[1] Klingenberg is known for her great versatility and ability to serve in passes from the wing.

Club career

Klingenberg attended the University of North Carolina and was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels. Klingenberg was selected by the Washington Freedom in the first round of the 2011 WPS draft.^[2]

International career

Klingenberg has played for the United States women's national soccer team at the U-17, U-20 and U-23 levels. She received her first call-up to the senior squad for the 2011 Four Nations Tournament and earned her first two caps during the event.
