Malo Trebeljevo is a small settlement in the hills to east of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It belongs to the Ljubljana Urban Municipality. It was part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]

To the south of the settlement, by the Besnica stream, a Roman period burial ground has been discovered. It is likely to be associated with a nearby villa rustica.[3]
