The Central Slovenia statistical region (Slovene: Osrednjeslovenska statistična regija) is a statistical region in central Slovenia. It includes the Slovene capital Ljubljana and is the most densely populated area of Slovenia. In terms of size it is the second largest region. It has good traffic connections in all directions and is economically the most developed region. Wages in this region are the highest in the country and the region is also attractive from the point of view of migration.

The region includes the following municipalities: Borovnica, Brezovica, Dobrepolje, Dobrova-Polhov Gradec, Dol pri Ljubljani, Domžale, Grosuplje, Horjul, Ig, Ivančna Gorica, Kamnik, Komenda, Litija, Ljubljana, Logatec, Log-Dragomer, Lukovica, Medvode, Mengeš, Moravče, Škofljica, Šmartno pri Litiji, Trzin, Velike Lašče, Vodice and Vrhnika.

It has a total area of 2,555 km².
