Madurantakam taluk is a taluk of Kanchipuram district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Madurantakam

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Madurantakam had a population of 254,845 with 127,784 males and 127,061 females. There were 994 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 66.72. The total number of households was 57,363.
