One of the earliest forays of the VGP Group. They gave a new dimension to consumer retailing taking conscious decision to innovate the market by introducing Hire Purchase Schemes for the first time in India, about 4 decades ago, a concept unheard of then. This caught the imagination of the masses, especially the common folk, resulting in booming sales. A minimum down payment amount with convenient monthly easy installments as per the paying capacity of individual did the trick. Even gypsies and rickshaw pullers became proud owners of consumer goods which they could only dream of, earlier.
