Douglas Martin Adkins (born October 3, 1963 in "Havre, Montana), is a country music singer and songwriter. He has recorded 8 studio albums between 1990 and 2010, and received a #1 hit on the European Hot Disc Country Charts with the song "Whiskey Salesman on 23 February and 2nd of March 2006. The song Whiskey Salesman was nominated for "Best Country Song of the Year" in 2008 by the "Independent Music Awards".

During his career, Adkins has written or co-written over 200 country songs, recorded 8 studio albums and in addition to touring the U.S., has toured Switzerland, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
