(Duméril & Bibron, 1841)Dermophis mexicanus is a species of amphibian in the Caeciliidae family. It is found in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and possibly Belize. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.
