Croatia Croatia is scheduled to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom from July 27 to August 12, 2012.

A member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) which represents Croatian athletes at the Olympic Games is the Croatian Olympic Committee (COC; Croatian: Hrvatski olimpijski odbor).

The 2012 Summer Olympics are the sixth Summer Olympics, and twelfth overall, Croatia is going to participate at.

For now, 35 Croatian athletes have secured a spot at the 2012 Summer Olympics in 7 sports.

Sports in which the Croatian athletes will be competing are: athletics, shooting, table tennis, taekwondo, swimming and water polo.

Lisa Christina Stublić is the first Croatian athlete to compete at the Olympic Games in the marathon (athletics).

Lucija Zaninović is the first Croatian taekwondoist to compete at the Olympic Games in the weight category up to 49 kg. Moreover, Lucija and Ana Zaninović are the first Croatian twins to compete at the Olympic Games.

Qualification

Thanks to the wins at the 2011 ISSF World Cup competitions, Croatia has qualified for two quota places in shooting events.[3]

Qualification

Croatia has qualified one athlete for singles table tennis events. Based on his ITTF world rankings as of 16 May 2011 Zoran Primorac has qualified for the men's event.[4]

Qualification

Croatia has ensured berths in the following events of taekwondo by reaching the top 3 of the 2011 World Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan:[5][6]
