Charleston is a former settlement in Yolo County, California. It was located 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Fremont Landing on the Sacramento River.[1]
A post office operated at Charleston from 1858 to 1871.[1] The place was named after Chales H. Gray, its first postmaster.[1]
