Chaojhou Township[1] (Chinese: 潮州鎮; pinyin: Cháozhōu Zhèn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tiô-chiu-tìn) is an urban township in western Pingtung County, Taiwan.

Chaojhou is named for the mainland Chinese city of Chaozhou. According to some historians, settlers from that city landed here in 1724, and thus named this area after their hometown.
