The Prime Minister of Peru (formally: President of the Council of Ministers of Peru; Spanish: Presidentes del Consejo de Ministros del Perú) is the head of the Council of Ministers, and is appointed by the President (pending ratification by Congress as with all members of the Council).[1]
The current prime minister is Salomón Lerner Ghitis, who was sworn in on 28 July 2011.[2]
