The company franchises in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin[3] about half of the locations are franchised, while the others are owned by the corporation.[2] Monical's is known for its unique thin crust pizza, which has spices blended into the crust[citation needed] and is cut into squares rather than the typical wedges seen at most pizza places.
History
The company was founded in 1959 by the Monical family in Tolono, Illinois. Although the company began in Tolono, the Corporate office is located in Bradley, Illinois.[4]
