Peter Piper Pizza is a United States family pizza chain.

They serve classic and specialty pizzas, chicken wings, and a variety of appetizers in family dining style, alongside large game rooms and play areas for youngsters. Many locations also serve alcohol, along with sandwiches and salads. Peter Piper Pizza also features an "all you can eat" lunch buffet Monday-Friday (11am-2pm) in most locations. Large dining areas frequently play host to birthday parties, which can be booked at any location in several packages. All but 6 company-owned restaurants are new or recently remodeled to reflect a more contemporary decor. Company-owned restaurants also offer Wi-Fi free of charge.

History

Tony Cavolo founded the first Peter Piper in Glendale, Arizona. The company has 41 company-owned restaurants and 94 franchise restaurants in the United States and Mexico. The Mexico expansion occurred in 1993. In 1995 Peter Piper acquired its hometown competitor, Pistol Pete's Pizza. In 2007 Peter Piper Inc. was acquired by private equity firm ACON Investments. In 2008 Peter Piper opened a Carvel ice cream shop inside its Metro Center (Phoenix) location.

Food

The restaurant offers pizza in a variety of sizes and crust types. They also feature several popular specialty pizzas, like the Chicago Classic and the 7-topping WERX. Each restaurant makes its dough from scratch each day. Chicken Wings are served in 2 different portions. Appetizers include salads, bread sticks, cheese sticks, popcorn chicken, garlic cheese bread and fried zucchini. Some restaurants also offer sandwiches and entree salads.

Entertainment

Most locations feature a large game room filled with video and virtual reality games, classic games (e.g., skee-ball), slides, tunnels, and even toddler areas where small children can play. Tokens must be purchased to play the games, which can be obtained either at the register or directly from machines in the game room. Many of the games produce tickets that can be redeemed for prizes at the prize redemption counter.
