Pizza Delight was founded in 1968 in Shediac, New Brunswick by Bernard Imbeault and two of his friends. Its head offices are now located in the nearby city of Moncton. The restaurant serves mainly pizza and Italian food. Today it has over 180 restaurants, and operates in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

Corporate endeavours

Beginning in the early 2000's Pizza Delight corp. began buying out other Canadian restaurant chains including Mikes, a prominent chain in Quebec and Ontario. The company now owns and operates over 350 restaurants across Canada under four different banners. These include:

Product changes

In September 2008, Pizza Delight added Pasta dishes to there menu. This was due to other Pizza restaurants such as Boston Pizza. On March 12th 2006 they started the grill your own bread. This allowed customers to grill a wide selections of breads and spreads, however this was only at selected locations.
