Dawn of a New Day is the debut studio album by Canadian country music singer Crystal Shawanda. It was released in Canada on June 24, 2008 and in the United States on August 19. It has produced four singles so far in "You Can Let Go," "What Do I Have to Do," "My Roots Are Showing" and the title track. The first two have charted in the Top 10 on the Canadian country charts. The former has also charted in Top 25 on the Hot Country Songs charts in the United States. Meanwhile, "What Do I Have to Do" was only released in Canada, and "My Roots Are Showing" was released across North America, where it reached the Top 20 in Canada. The fourth single, the title track, has also reached the Top 10 in Canada.
