The Warren Brothers is an American country music duo composed of brothers Brett and Brad Warren. The duo's lead vocalist, Brett also plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, mandolin and piano; Brad sings background vocals in addition to playing acoustic and electric guitar. Signed to BNA Records in 1997, the duo made its debut on the American country music scene in 1998 with its debut album "Beautiful Day in the Cold Cruel World"; "King of Nothing", "Well Deserved Obscurity" and "Barely Famous Hits" followed in 2000, 2004 and 2005, respectively. Overall, these albums produced a total of ten chart entries on the "Billboard" Hot Country Songs charts. This figure includes the song "Sell a Lot of Beer", which charted on two separate occasions. Their highest-charting single is 2001's "Move On", which peaked at #18 in 2002.

Background

Brad and Brett Warren grew up in Tampa, Florida. They previously headlined local bands including a Christian rock band called St. Warren. The duo had been signed BNA Records in 1997. Later, they were then discovered by Faith Hill, who with husband Tim McGraw brought the brothers on board with them as the opening act of McGraw and Hill's Soul2Soul Tour in 2000. CMT signed the brothers to their own reality TV series called "Barely Famous: The Warren Brothers".

The Warren Brothers have also co-written singles for other artists, including Tim McGraw ("If You're Reading This"), Faith Hill ("The Lucky One", "Red Umbrella"), Martina McBride ("Anyway", "How I Feel"), and Dierks Bentley ("Feel That Fire").
