It encompasses the communities of Clercs-Saint-Viateur, La Ferme, Lac-Davy, Trécesson, and Villemontel.
The township had a population of 1,195 in the Canada 2006 Census, and a land area of 196.38 square kilometres.[2] It is part of the census agglomeration of Amos.
