Province Shirak Population (2010) – Total 9,643 Time zone (UTC+4) – Summer (DST) (UTC+5) Akhuryan at GEOnet Names Server Akhuryan (Armenian: Ախուրյան; formerly, Duzk’end, Duzk’end Mets, and Duzk’yand) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Shirak Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population was 9,643 in 2010,[1] down from 9,696 at the 2001 census.[2]
