Plot
Best friends Liana and Alexa set off on a perilous journey to the mysterious Diamond Castle in hopes of rescuing their new friend from her imprisonment within an enchanted mirror. Armed with two puppies and the power of their shared love of music, the girls realize that friendship is the most valuable jewel of them all.
Characters
- Kelly Sheridan as Barbie/Liana – Barbie stars as Liana, a girl who shares a cottage in the forest with her best friend Alexa. Liana is smart, loyal, and brave. She's not afraid of tricky situations and she loves to sing. Her eyes are light blue – as are Melody's – and her hair is blonde.
- Chiara Zanni as Teresa/Alexa – Teresa also stars as Alexa. She and Liana are best friends. Sometimes she's a little bit meek and unsure, but the power of friendship shows her the way. She believes in magic, and she and Liana have a silly sense of humor. She has a beautiful singing voice. Her eyes are bright green and her hair and skin is dark.
- Brittney Wilson as Melody – Melody used to be an apprentice to the two Muses of Music who live in the Diamond Castle. She was trapped inside the magic mirror while trying to hide from Lydia. She loves to sing in harmony with Liana and Alexa.
- Jeremy From as Jeremy and Noel Johansen as Ian – they are the twin brothers who sing and play guitar. They befriend Liana and Alexa and help them battle with Lydia on their way to the Diamond Castle. They're very vain and cheeky, though still amusing.
- Kathleen Barr as Lydia – Lydia is a mean former Muse who wants Diamond Castle for herself. She plays her flute to use her evil spells. Lydia wants to take over Diamond Castle and make it all gloomy.
- Mark Acheson as Slyder – Slyder is a clumsy, flying serpent and assistant of Lydia.
- Veena Sood as Sparkles/Lily – Sparkles, a cocker spaniel pup and Lily, West highland terrier pup, are a pair of adorable puppies. Liana and Alexa adopt them while on their journey to the Diamond Castle.
- Three Muses of Music – they lived in the Diamond Castle along with their former co-muse Lydia Until Melody became a Real Muse.
- Glimmer – is a magnificent winged horse that flies above the Diamond Castle. She only comes to life after Lydia was defeated.
