Voice actresses playing Barbie
In most of the Barbie films, the character herself is voiced by Canadian Kelly Sheridan in a spoken role and Melissa Lyons in a sung role. American voice actress and singer Jodi Benson plays the same character in the Toy Story series. She is voiced by Sharon Lewis in Barbie and the Rockers: Out of this World and Barbie and The Sensations: Rockin' Back to Earth. Skye Sweetnam provided her singing voice in The Barbie Diaries. Diana Kaarina replaced Sheridan in Barbie: A Fashion Fairy Tale in 2010.
