The Freddy's food menu is based mainly off of the "Freddy's Steakburger," which is a burger made from a lean steak. Patties are mashed into a flat circle and a secret seasoning is added. Varieties include an original, which comes with mustard, onion, and pickle, a "California style" burger, which comes with onion, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and "Freddy's sauce" (a marketing term for Thousand Island dressing), and a kid burger, which comes with ketchup and pickle. All are served on a toasted bun.
Freddy's is also known for its specials, which include the "Burger Dog", the "Sourdough Mushroom Swiss Steakburger" and the "Foot-Long Dog". Custard items are paired with these food items as specials as well.
Freddy's also serves hot dogs dressed "Chicago style," which includes relish, mustard, pickle, tomato, onion, celery salt, and sport peppers; chili-dog, which comes with chili, cheese, and onions; or as you like it. Freddy's menu also includes a chicken breast sandwich, onion rings, chicken tenders, and most meals come with seasoned shoe-string fries.
In addition to food, Freddy's has gained fame for their concretes made with custard and other dessert items.
