Tattnall Square Academy is an independent, non-profit, Christian, college preparatory academy located in Macon, Georgia. It was chartered by the State of Georgia in 1969. The school is administered by a Board of Directors consisting of church members and parents.

The school was built on a plot of land in the Wesleyan Woods subdivision, just a few miles from Wesleyan College, and remains there today. Since then, a new athletic building, elementary building, senior deck, and two playgrounds have been built on campus.

History

The school was founded on February 5, 1969 by Tattnall Square Baptist Church, around the same time many other private schools in the southeast were founded, and presumably for some of the same reasons. At first, the campus consisted only of the main building, Trojan Hall (gym then/auditorium now), and the Baseball, Softball, Football, and Soccer fields. In 2003, Georgia Tech football star Durant Brooks graduated. In 2004, Trojan Hall was converted to an auditorium, the new Athletic Complex was built, and by now the other buildings had been built.
