Malcolm Menin

Malcolm Menin was Bishop of Knaresborough from 1986 to 1997.

Born on 26 September 1932[1] he was educated at The Dragon School[2] and University College, Oxford[3] before taking Holy Orders at Cuddeston College, Oxford. After Curacies in Portsmouth and Fareham[4] he was appointed Vicar of St James, Norwich in 1962, an area which he was to be associated with for much of the rest of his life.[5] Promotion to be Rural Dean of Norwich in 1981[6] followed[7] which lead in turn lead to elevation to the Suffragan Bishopric of Knaresborough,[8] 11 years later, on retirement, he returned to Norwich where he remains active in church life.[9]
