While in the lab, the scientist tries to cut off Moe's head, but does not succeed. Shemp seeing the action runs and yells "Every man for himself!" He tries to open the door but the handle is pulled out and pulls Shemp to the door. Finding a place to hide, Shemp finds the girl tied up and gagged in a curtained alcove at the end of the main hallway. She then tells Shemp that those men escaped a mental hospital. While everyone spreds out being chased The scientist and his assistant, Shemp tries to call the mental hospital, but is scared off by the scientist's headless robot. Larry hides in one room, soon Shemp runs in and sees Larry poking his head between the tables and thinks Larry goy his head cut off. Larry is found by the assistant. Larry takes the tables and sqeezes the assistant between them. Shemp runs to a closet, he opens the door and sees Moe, they both scream and Shemp runs off. Moe asks himself "What's wrong with that imbisile?" The scientist emerges from behind the coats and tries to cut Moe's head off. Moe escapes and runs. Shemp returns to the closet, realizing he ran into Moe. While searching for Moe in the closet, Moe comes back with a key and locks the door. Larry and the girl find him and tell him that they found a secret passage way. Larry haults everyone and asks Moe "Where's Shemp?" Moe, unaware that Shemp is in the closet, replies "He got away, I got the professor locked in the closet" Moe then swallows the key and all three make a run for it. In the closet the scientist emerges again and tells Shemp "Try to get out of this!" Shemp breaks down the door and runs after Moe, Larry, and the girl. Moe, Larry, and the girl, at the side of a road, yell for rides. One car stops and they hop in. Shemp catches up with them and gets in the car. They all feel glad they got out of the house and are safe. Suddenly the girl screams and points to the driver, the scientist's headless robot, the Stooges and the girl scream in horror and huddle up in the back seat.
