Ripon is a single member electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly. It is a rural electorate based in western Victoria. It includes the towns of Ararat, Maryborough, Stawell, Creswick, Avoca, Beaufort, Dunolly, Halls Gap, Kingston, and Skipton. It has existed continuously since 1976.
For most of the its history, Ripon has been held by the Liberal Party. However, it has been held by the Australian Labor Party since 1999.
