According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 118 people, 51 households, and 31 families residing in the village. The population density was 115.0 people per square mile (44.2/km²). There were 69 housing units at an average density of 67.3 per square mile (25.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 93.22% White, 3.39% Native American, and 3.39% from two or more races.

There were 51 households out of which 29.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.0% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.2% were non-families. 35.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the village the population was spread out with 27.1% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 20.3% from 25 to 44, 25.4% from 45 to 64, and 22.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 93.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.5 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $19,250, and the median income for a family was $23,750. Males had a median income of $21,875 versus $13,750 for females. The per capita income for the village was $10,736. There were 26.7% of families and 30.1% of the population living below the poverty line, including 31.4% of under eighteens and 20.0% of those over 64.
