Jericho Covered Bridge, Joppatowne, is the last remaining covered bridge in Harford County , Maryland. The convert|100|ft|m|sing=on long bridge is supported by a timber beam Burr arch and clad in cedar boards. It was built in 1865 and restored in 1982. [citation

] Local legends say that several lynchings occurred at this bridge during and after the Civil War, in which the victims were hung from the upper rafters, sometimes many at a time. This has given rise to a number of urban legends and local superstitions relating to the bridge.
