Early life
Born in Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona, Catalonia, Robusté a started his career at the second biggest team in Barcelona, RCD Espanyol. He played for both Juvenil teams during 2003–04, and was a regular of the reserve team during his three-season spell, with 21 third division appearances in his second year, suffering team relegation.
Club career
Robusté was loaned to Polideportivo Ejido for 2006–07, and played in 29 second level games for the Andalusia outfit. In summer 2007, he was released by the Catalans without any first-team appearances, and joined Levante UD in La Liga.
Due to the team's severe financial crisis, Robusté was propelled into the first team, making his top flight debut on 30 March 2008, in a 1–2 away defeat against UD Almería.[1] On 22 May 2010, with the team again in the second division, he scored twice in a 5–3 success at FC Cartagena,[2] as the Valencian eventually finished third and promoted.
On 8 August 2011, after only seven league games with Levante, Robusté left the club[3] and returned to level two, signing for Xerez CD late into the month.
International career
Robusté was captain of the Spanish U-19 team that won the 2004 UEFA European Championship. He also represented the nation at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship.
