It consists of four mixed-use towers connected together at the base and by a sky bridge at the top. The four towers will be 300 m (984 ft) and will have 73 floors each. Construction is set for completion in 2013.[1][2]
Construction was started in 2008, and the project will cost $4 billion (Dh14.6 billion).[1] Once completed Dubai Pearl will accommodate 9,000 residents and its commercial sector will employ 12,000 people.[1]
