Mykolaiv (Ukrainian: Миколаїв, also referred to as Mykolayiv, Polish: Mikołajów) is a city located in the Lviv Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Mykolaiv Raion (district).
The current estimated population is 14,800 (as of 2001).
