His best known role is Captain of the Winkie Guards in The Wizard of Oz, but he was uncredited. His line was "Hail to Dorothy! The Wicked Witch is dead!"
He was born in Syracuse, New York and died in Los Angeles, California. This actor's grave is located at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.
