movie theater company formed in1999 . It is headed by Thomas W. Stephenson, Jr., former CEO ofHollywood Theaters . The company is based inDallas, Texas . __NOTOC__Amenities and features
Every theater features multiple concession stands, arcade games, online and kiosk ticketing, and a futuristic environment with special lighting,
LCD menu andfilm trailer displays, and some have a stylized special event room.Every auditorium in every theater features the following:

*Reclining seat backs
*Oversized luxury reclining seats
*Retractable arm rests / cup holders / tray tables
*18 inch rise to each row (to promote clearline-of-sight )

June 2006 , Rave Motion Pictures announced a partnership with Christie/AIX to install 445 digital cinema systems in its theaters. Several Rave theaters (including theaters in Peoria, IL and Huntsville, AL) already have Christie systems installed and a full conversion of existing theaters was completed in August2007 .How Many

As of today, Alabama holds the most Rave Theaters within its boarders.There are 7 Raves in Alabama.
With Huntsville haveing the biggest in Alabama; 18 Large Stadium style theaters within its walls.
