Access Digital Media

AccessIT Digital Media is the Digital Media division of Morristown, NJ-based Access Integrated Technologies, Inc (AccessIT). It is led by senior digital cinema veteran Russell J. Wintner, who serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for the division.

Access Digital Media (AccessDM) was formed in 2003 when AccessIT President and CEO A. Dale "Bud" Mayo formed the "AccessDM" subsidiary and recruited Wintner to its helm. By 2005, the "AccessDM" brand was completely retired and the division was renamed "AccessIT Digital Media Division".

AccessIT Digital Media ecompasses all of the company's operations related to the development and delivery of digital media, including Digital Cinema Solutions, Distribution Software and Exhibition Software. The division also includes AccessIT's Christie/AIX unit, which serves as the funding vehicle and administrator for the company's 4000-screen digital cinema deployment. Christie/AIX is led by industry veteran and former Digital Cinema Initiatives CEO Chuck Goldwater, who reports to Wintner, and is a joint-venture with Christie Digital Systems, which produces the projection equipment used in the AccessIT digital cinema deployment.
