*Leon Barmore - Former Lady Techsters basketball coach, member of the Basketball Hall of Fame
*Cecil R. Blair - farmer/businessman, member of Louisiana House of Representatives (1952-1956) and Louisiana State Senate (1960-1964, 1966-1976) from Rapides Parish (D)
*William R. "Billy" Boles, Sr. - Monroe attorney and former member of the Louisiana State Senate (D)
*Terry Bradshaw - Retired American football Hall of Fame quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Led Pittsburgh to four Super Bowl championships in six seasons, winning Super Bowl MVP honors in consecutive games XIII, XIV. Donated all four of his Super Bowl rings to Louisiana Tech's athletic Hall of Fame.

*George Doherty (1920-1987) - Player for Buffalo Bills in 1947; high school football coach, defensive coach at Louisiana Tech from 1957-1966; head coach at Northwestern State University from 1972-1974.

*William Leslie McNease - Was a member of the first aviation class taught at La Tech in September, 1967. He was Vice President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a 4 year letterman on the tennis team. In 2007 he was elected to be the Chairman of the Aviation Department Alumni Advisory Board.
