Divya Singh (Hindi:'दिव्या सिंह') (born 21 July 1982) is former captain for the India women's national basketball team. Divya led the Indian women's basketball team at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. She is one of the best women basketballers in India,[citation needed] known for her game skills, leadership qualities, academic strength and personality. She is currently Studying Sports Management at University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware and working as an assistant women's basketball coach for UD.
