Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. (日本郵政株式会社 Nippon Yū-sei Kabushiki-gaisha?) is a large state-owned enterprise[2] in Japan that deals with mail delivery and financial services.[3] Its headquarters is located in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo.[4] There were plans to fully privatise the agency but these have been put on hold.[3] The organisation was ranked #9 in the Fortune Global 500 of 2011,[5] having been ranked #6 the previous year.[3]

The company was founded on 23 January 2006,[2] although it was not until October 2007 that it took over the functions of Japan Post.
