- 'Buta' means pig in Japanese.
- The inner cover contains the words "ANIMAL DOMINATION" and "KILL PEOPLE NOT PIGGIES" as well as links to PETA and the Merzbow website.
- This release forms part of Masami Akita's "Merz" series released through Important Records. The Important Records website claims that it's the "third" such release while saying elsewhere that the third one is Merzbuddha.
