Microkosmos | Volume 1 is an album by the noise artist Merzbow, the first in a series of five.

The series features artwork from a collection of visual collages created by Masami Akita from 1982-83.

It is limited to 500 copies pressed on green marble vinyl in a full-color jacket, plus 5 test pressings also on green marble vinyl in a paper sleeve with the label's logo stamped all over.
