As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 215 people, 77 households, and 62 families residing in the city. Thepopulation density was 714.3 people per square mile (276.7/km²). There were 83 housing units at an average density of 275.7/sq mi (106.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 93.95% White, 4.65% Native American, and 1.40% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.40% of the population.There were 77 households out of which 37.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.3% were married couples living together, 2.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.2% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.79 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the city the population was spread out with 31.6% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 27.0% from 25 to 44, 20.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $38,958, and the median income for a family was $41,875. Males had a median income of $35,000 versus $20,714 for females. The

At one time, Lehigh was served by a branch line of the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway that connected Marion and McPherson. The line was purchased by theCentral Kansas Railway in 1992, and abandoned in 1993 after heavy flood damage to the line.References
